Writer's Block: Eat, Drink, Be Merry

I don't care for cranberry sauce (fresh or canned), but I would hate for it to be missing from the Thanksgiving table. It is one of those traditional foods that is always there. Actually, I don't care for pumpkin pie, either. How could you have Thanksgiving without pumpkin pie, though?? I don't eat either one of these. The other traditional dessert we have is Pecan Pie. I don't care for either of these, so I often miss out on Thanksgiving dessert. Sometimes someone brings a fruit pie. Yay!
All that said, we have so many people and so much food there on Thanksgiving that our meal is served up buffet-style. There is not enough room on the dining room table for all the food, much less for all the people!
Ah... this post has made me a little more ready for Thanksgiving. I look forward to seeing everyone. This will be my boyfriend's first big holiday with my family.
