Thanks - Day 4

Today I am thankful for my management team at work. The P&D Manager insisted I attend a meeting for admin... they discuss office stuff. They even moved it this week, so it would happen after my lunch break instead of while I was gone.

I had WAY too much work to afford time out for a meeting that would last "probably an hour" and I had heard rumor an hour and a half! I was kind of freaking out. She was no help, telling me I should get the guys to work out there. Well "the guys" were already doing THEIR job. I went to my own Sort Manager and closed his door... I ate 2 mini Hersheys while I proceeded to go off. My Sort Manager got all of my managers out to QA to help immediately. I went over what needed to be done, supervised for a few minutes, then headed in for my meeting.

The P&D Manager decided they'd cover anything concerning me first since I had so much work to do, then I could get back to it. That was cool. I was really surprised. Everyone was still out in my cage when I got back out there. They cruised pretty quickly thereafter. I still had a hard time finishing on time, I even got the receptionist to come out and help me a little. I was on a roll with the asking for help today!
