Google Library

Google has a Book Search in beta right now. You can check it out at books.google.com. What I thought was especially cool here is that you can "Add to My Library" - and it will then keep a searchable list of books you own. You can even rate them in your own listing! Other people can search your library, too.

You can add reviews, notes (great place to keep track of to whom you loaned books, perhaps?), and labels. Cool stuff, looks neat!

Wish List - Day 14

I wish for a spatula (or set of them). I also wish for Arnica Gel (for bruises) and Corona ointment(for horses... it is great for healing humans, too!). I really want the tub of Corona instead of the tube, but beggars can not be choosers, now can they? The tub is bigger, but it doesn't take much. Really it is because it is much easier to use out of the tub. It is thick stuff.

I would also very much like to have some of these shoe shelves. They make great head boards for storage if your bed sits on the floor. Then I got to looking and think I'd like to have a few for my actual shoes, too! (How novel!)

I have also been wanting a dresser (a chest of drawers, really) ever since moving into my apartment. I'm using one of those plastic roll around ones for now, which does the trick, but not what I want. I would rather the chest of drawers than the dresser because I want it to fit at the back of my walk-in closer or between my closet and bathroom doors. Jeez, I just went to measure and the thing would have to be 2 feet, 3 at the most to go in the back of the closet. It couldn't be more than 2 feet to fit between the closet and bathroom doors. Do they make them that thin? Okay, they do. Then there's the lingerie chests... that might work, since it has 7 drawers. Maybe. We had one when I was a kid. My best friend still uses it now. This thing is pretty cool, and hell I could fit two of these! They even make a 3 drawer one for cheaper.

I'm not saying I have to have furniture from Target... I was just looking for examples of what I meant and that turned into shopping. lol I really like the bookcase headboards, but the shoe shelves are just a cheaper way of doing the same thing. You can stack them for more space.
