Wedding, Rings, and Honeymoon - check
Aug. 16th, 2009 11:24 amI can not believe how hot Elmo's wedding band looks on his hand! It fits him so perfectly. It catches my eye all the time and I love it! Mine, however, is too tight since I'm all swollen and pregnant, but I found a great solution for our weekend! I had a ball chain that I doubled, running through the ring twice. The ring was plenty heavy so it stayed in front and stood up very nicely.
We took a trip this weekend that I have since decided was our honeymoon. lol It made sense... We trimmed SO many corners compared to a traditional wedding. We got the marriage license, married in a public place with no reservations, with the help from a friend and only a couple of witnesses. As a makeshift wedding reception, we had dinner at my father's place where we announced that we eloped. Ordered stainless steel rings online which arrived on Friday!
So a week after the wedding, to travel a couple of hours to sleep under the stars on private property, for free... seems the perfect honeymoon. So we spent... about $170 plus fuel for the entire shindig. lol Beat that! hahaha
