First Doc Appointment(s)

We went for Sasha's first follow-up today. She weighs 7 lbs 7.5 oz. That is really good for one week, if you ask me. She goes back again next week to make sure she is still gaining like she should. She has the slightest yellow tint to her skin, but not enough to concern our doctor. He said to get her some indirect sunlight if we get an opportunity. (The sun would have to make an appearance first.)

Elmo had his first appointment with our doctor today, too. I think it is great that he got to know our doctor first. Things look promising on that front, too. Then we got blood work on Elmo just to have a baseline.

Then we were both famished, so we headed to IHOP. By the time we left there, I was ready to be home! Going out certainly was tiring. Here's the thing... we had SO much going on at the doctor's office with both of them that I totally forgot to talk to the doctor about my hip! I do think it is probably my sciatica and got some good advice from a friend about that. I also figure I'll do some research online. I'll get another chance to talk to our doctor about it next week, too.

Oh! The guy that does maintenance on the belts at work was in the waiting room when we got there! That means he is the first person from FedEx to see Sasha. heh
