EC Today

Stayed home sick today. Didn't really focus much on the EC, either. I just slept and vegged a lot. Sasha seems to be under the weather as well and slept much of the day along side of me.

Tonight, though, I have saved us a few more diapers. See, she used to poop in almost every diaper. Now she only poops every couple of days and I'm finding that her signs are very clear that she needs to poop (passing gas, for instance). When she does go, she kind of splits it into two diapers. She goes, then a few minutes later goes again. A couple of nights ago, when I started EC, she only pooped once. But tonight not only did she poop twice, I caught both of them clearly. And she is SO happy after pooping into the sink! I know it sounds crazy, but then I somehow feel better knowing that I'm not the only one with a baby pooping into a sink.

There is something really weird about the fact that I have now looked at probably a hundred photos of babies peeing or pooping outside of diapers (into toilets, potties, sinks, and on the lawn). Stranger still to think of how many people have photographed said activities and posted them on the internet. And yet... I want a pic of Sasha and I, too. lol

Oh, and I'm impressing myself that I'm catching those signals while I'm not really paying attention. Now I need some improvement on the pee signs...
