2 hours after breakfast - 100

I had 2 kolachis with most of the bread removed and a small glass of milk. About 1½ hours later, I started feeling sleepy. As usual. I plan to mention this to the Diabetes Center when I go today.

I'm sure you've already been to the center and they've already told you this, but simple carbohydrate stuff (like white bread and milk and potatoes and refined sugar) that cause a spike in your blood glucose will cause a "crash" shortly thereafter. That's likely where your sleepiness is coming from.

Well, that and you ARE 7 months pregnant. Not likely you forgot about that, though. :)

I hadn't been to the center until today for my educational session. This was the soonest they could see me. So yeah, she went over and I am familiar with simple carbohydrates. Only... it doesn't matter what I eat for breakfast, I'm getting tired at about the same time every morning. More sleepy than tired, though. So... I think it must have more to do with the pregnancy and not enough sleep. So, I'm trying to force myself to rest more. I had a nap after work today and I slept SO hard! Though I should probably be going to bed now and I'm just not THAT tired yet. heh
